Ballet Classique's acclaimed Competitive Student program nurtures dancers from a young age, identifying and developing potential through high-quality dance education. Through pre-professional Vaganova ballet training with the guidance of experienced instructors and multiple platforms to perform, and express their art, students are empowered to fully realize their potential as dancers.

Our program is based on the curriculum taught at the Vaganova Ballet Academy, aiming to help our students achieve their fullest potential and ability. We want students to develop an in-depth understanding of their bodies, performing artistry and maturity. Our students experience an annual internal assessment in front of a panel of esteemed examiners, consisting of current/former professional dancers and ballet masters/mistresses.

The Vaganova method is acknowledged as the number one training system for Classical Ballet. It has created some of the world’s most acclaimed dancers, choreographers and teachers: Anna Pavlova, George Balanchine, Rudolph Nureyev, Diana Vishneva, Svetlana Zakharova, Vladimir Shklyarov, Alina Somova and so many more. Through Vaganova training, students develop the necessary building blocks of beautiful, safe and correct technique and build up a solid foundation that allows the adding of different “styles” as a dancer matures.
