Students will learn fundamental Vaganova ballet techniques through carefully structured exercises and age-appropriate training, setting the stage for more structured technical training as they progress.
WHAT YOUR CHILD WILL LEARN
Good posture and poise that lasts a lifetime
Your child will learn correct posture, coordination, body awareness and placement, and fundamental ballet technique in a structured and age-appropriate environment, while building strong foundations in classical ballet.
Flexibility and body development
Through guided stretching and age-appropriate conditioning exercises, your child will safely develop flexibility, strength, balance, and body awareness while improving overall physical coordination.
Musicality and artistic expression
Your child will be introduced to ballet mime, learning to combine facial expressions and movements to express themselves, helping them build confidence and creativity through dance.
1 h 15 mins
An ideal foundation ballet class for children preparing for formal Vaganova ballet training. Students build strength, coordination, musicality, and a love for classical ballet in a structured environment. The program culminates in an internal ballet assessment, before advancing officially into our Vaganova ballet program at the next level, Vaganova 1.
WHAT YOUR CHILD WILL LEARN
Strong ballet foundations for life
Your child will develop the strength, coordination, posture, and body awareness needed for a smooth transition into formal Vaganova ballet training, while building healthy movement habits and strong classical ballet foundations that support safer and more effective learning in ballet and all future forms of dance.
Focus and good learning habits
Alongside a wider vocabulary of ballet steps and stronger classical ballet technique, your child develops focus, learns ballet class etiquette, and builds positive learning habits essential for formal ballet training — skills that are also valuable far beyond the dance studio.
Confidence and performance skills
Your child develops an eye for detail in movement, learning to refine and improve technique while understanding quality in dance. Through combinations and guided exercises, they build confidence, musicality, and stage presence, preparing for a small assessment and parent showcase before progressing to Vaganova 1.
THE BALLET CLASSIQUE EXPERIENCE
Child safety first
Every class is conducted in a supervised environment where your child feels safe, seen, and encouraged.
Learn at your pace
No pressure, no rushing. Our instructors are trained to nurture — not just teach. Your child learns at his or her desired pace.
Small class sizes
Smaller classes result in more teacher-student time, resulting in better corrections, faster progress, and a teacher who knows your child.
